About

Hello all, my name is Meagan, and I’m a teacher. I’ve decided to create a blog to talk about my weight loss journey, and my life in general. My blog has gone through some changes, I haven’t deleted any posts, because it’s important to see where one comes from, both physically and mentally. I’ve grown as a person, and my blog continues to grow and change with me. I hope you enjoy reading it, but really, I write for myself because I just have too many thoughts that need a place to spew forth.

  1. Hi, I think what you’re doing is incredibly inspiring! I’ve been dieting and it’s going well, but the mental diet is the key to losing weight! What I found really helps is to not think about food other than fuel in the tank! It takes away a large amount of the temptation if you do! I really wish you well and I know you’ll do great! Thank you for the follow! Keep writing and creating!

    • Thank you for the encouraging words! You are so right, it’s all a mental thing at least that’s what I’m discovering. Where the mind goes, the body tends to follow; it’s weird like that I suppose. 🙂

      • Hi, you’re welcome I think your blog is amazing! It is quite weird the mental thing, but I knew it was unhealthy to carry that much weight! Then I just said that’s it I’m losing the weight and it’s working! When the smallest soldier thinks himself large, the battle is already won! Great talking with you!

  2. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Good luck with your challenge. As others have said your mental state will have a lot to do with your success. I’m looking forward to cheering you on your way.

  3. Megan thanks for reading my blog at 2panthers.com. I know what you are going thru and you are smart for getting a head start while you are young, I waited until my mid 30’s to get in shape the first time. I half heartedly kept it up, but the pounds came back anyway. Here I am in my mid 50’s, starting all over again. The good part is I have a solid starting place and know what works for me. You will find what works for you, stick with it, listen to your body, and keep smiling. I will be in your corner all the way!

  4. Thanks for liking my blow out meal post. I wasn’t sure if I should write about it or not, but thought it might help some to realize we are never perfect in our eating 100% of the time!

  5. yes it is difficult to have to eat perfect all the time. read my birthday cake dilemma! We know that processed and fast food is so bad for you, so you are forced to cook. Sometimes the urge to lick the spoon is so strong!!!!
